Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Procedure

In the admission procedure, allotment of seats and fees structure for all the seats, our College strictly adheres the order of the Government of Karnataka amended from time to time and prevalent at the date of admission. As per the order of the Government of Karnataka, the allotment and distribution of the seats are as follows:

  • 45% of the seats are filled by the Government of Karnataka through Common Entrance Test (CET).
  • 30% of the seats are filled through entrance test conducted by the COMED-K.
  • 25% of the seats are filled by Management.

Admission through CET

Student should have passed II PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the languages, and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics/ Computer Science. In case of SC/ST and OBC (Cat-1,2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B category) students from Karnataka, the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40%.
Student should have cleared the entrance test conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka – KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test).

Admission through COMED-K

Student should have passed II PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the languages, and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics/ Computer Science. In case of SC/ST and OBC (Cat-1,2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B category) students from Karnataka, the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40%.

Student should have cleared the entrance test conducted by the COMEDK. 

Admission through Management

Students should have passed II PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the languages, and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics/ Computer Science. In case of SC/ST and OBC (Cat-1,2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B category) students from Karnataka, the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40%.

Student should have cleared any one of the Entrance Tests conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka or Govt. of India (KCET, COMEDK, AMPCK, AIEEE and others as per norms)

  • Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority Examination
  • All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE)
  • Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka
